AMAP Contaminants Assessment

Many man-made and naturally occurring chemicals end up in the Arctic marine environment as a result of land-based and sea-based human activities. Some of these chemicals are hazardous for the marine environment

The data collected under the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP). Biota data are quality controlled and hosted at ICES. These data are assessed by AMAP; the results are presented using the application available here.
