Open access and peer reviewed, Techniques in Marine Environmental Sciences presents detailed descriptions of methods and procedures relating to chemical and biological measurements in the marine environment.
The ICES Techniques in Marine Environmental Sciences (TIMES) series details methods and procedures relating to chemical and biological measurements in the marine environment. Most of the techniques described have been selected for documentation on the basis of performance in ICES or other international intercalibration exercises. The open access and peer reviewed series is intended for use at the laboratory bench, in the field, or on research vessels.

The entire series is available in our Publications library but printed copies can also be ordered at a nominal cost from the ICES Secretariat.

The current series editor is Paul D. Keizer.
