Symposia are an important part of ICES Science Programme. ICES provides support for scientific symposia that contribute to our efforts to develop and share knowledge and expertise related to marine science. We are currently welcoming proposals for symposia on topics that are relevant to the science priorities and/or issues highlighted in our Strategic, Science, and Advisory Plans.
How to submit?
Contact our symposia coordinator to indicate your interest in requesting ICES co-sponsorship of a symposium. They will send you a resolution form, which will need to be submitted to the Secretariat by 1 February 2021. Consult the Symposia Guidelines to assist you with your proposal.
ICES Science Committee (SCICOM) will review and approve symposium resolutions at its March 2021 meeting.
