Nominations for two of ICES prestigious awards, the Outstanding Achievement Award and the Prix d'Excellence are now open. These awards honour scientists who have made especially notable contributions to both ICES and the wider marine science world.
The Prix d'Excellence, presented every three years, recognizes a scientist who has made substantial contributions to marine science. To be nominated for this award, candidates need not be active participants in ICES work or activities.
The Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes a member of the ICES community who has made ongoing important contributions to ICES in the field of marine science over a sustained period of time.
Nominations can be made online no later than 1 May 2020.
